Starts 10:00 am at the Fox & Hounds pub, Colerne, SN14 8DB. Grid ref: ST 818 711.
Parking is at the pub or adjacent Constitutional Club.

This 5 mile moderate, often hilly walk takes approx 3 hours around the various footpaths of Colerne Parish.

Lunch is available at the Fox and Hounds. Bring a mid morning snack.
Not suitable for pushchairs. The walk may be steep and muddy in places, and may include stiles.
Walkers are responsible for their own safety.

At the walk finish there will be an opportunity to donate to the Cotswold Countryside Fund, enabling the Cotswold Voluntary Wardens to maintain stiles, paths, dry stone walls and so forth.

The walk of approximately 9 miles starts from Longs Arms PH, Steeple Ashton, Nr Trowbridge, BA14 6EU at 10:00 am.

On street parking is available, please do not park in the pub car park.

Please bring a packed lunch.

Corsham walkers can meet in the Co-op car park, Newlands Road at 9.15 am to car share. Can walkers needing lifts please first check the return arrangements with their driver.

28 Jan – Corsham Wanderers

The next walk is on Sunday 28th January and starts at 10 am from Kingsdown Golf Club car park, SN13 8BS.

Can drivers please park south of the clubhouse, adjacent to the ground workings and at the far western side by a small line of trees.
The surface of this car park is not tarmaced.

The ramble is about 11 miles and passes through Monkton Farleigh and Warleigh.
The lunch stop will be at Dundas Aqueduct where there is the opportunity to buy refreshments at the Angelfish Café.
Otherwise please bring a picnic lunch.
Post walk refreshments in the Golf Club.

Apologies for my absence. I will be on holiday hence the early reminder of the walk.

Friday 12th January – Monthly walk with the St Bartholomew’s Church, Corsham walking group.

Meeting at 10:00 hrs in High Street, Marshfield, opposite the Catherine Wheel Pub, SN14 8LR.
We will be heading north for a walk of about 10 miles.
Ample on-street parking.
Suggest bringing snack/picnic.

A New Year’s Day walk to Upper Midford, Combe Hay and part of the disused Somerset Coal Canal.
