Out and About
Corsham’s attractions include Springfield Community Campus with leisure and sports facilities, local library and free car park with charging points – see www.springfieldcampus.org.uk. There is free wi-fi throughout the building, function rooms for hire and an exhibition space. The Stephanie Millward Swimming Pool, health suite and cafe are proving popular too.
The Pound Arts Centre offers a year round programme of performances, workshops, youth theatre and exhibitions – see www.poundarts.org.uk. There is always something interesting happening at The Pound: cinema, live music, workshops, exhibitions and classes. They also do a great job of handling the Corsham Walking Festival bookings.
Walkers are Welcome
In March 2014 Corsham was awarded Walkers are Welcome (WaW) status, joining the network of over 100 walk friendly towns in the UK. The scheme encourages and supports towns and villages in offering excellent walking facilities in their area. Find out more about WaW at www.walkersarewelcome.org.uk.
