Thanks for an awesome walking festival guys, you rock! – Michelle

Thank you for the festival and lovely walks. A lot of hard work to set it all up.

Particularly, thank you for your pre-help for the Browne’s Folly walk. Pete Caffery was very kind over the route getting me up and over slippy places. We had a very good talk from the Prof on the Archaeology, and the orchids, other flowers and grasses were just beautiful. It was a good discovery for me, as I didn’t know Browne’s Folly existed!

The Quiz Night and with Bridget’s meal was most enjoyable, too.

I thoroughly enjoyed Friday’s walk on the Corsham Quarry Tramways, led by Philip Whalley. He was an engaging & knowledgeable guide, whose enthusiasm shone through the whole group.

My walking friends & I also enjoyed last night’s quiz & superb supper. The quiz masters put in a terrific amount of hours to host last night’s event & although we received the wooden spoons it hasn’t put off joining in next year’s gathering !!!!
Thanking you

A big thank you to everyone’s hard work in putting the festival together. I really enjoyed my two walks. Colin and Sarah led the walk to Bath and then today’s walk with Mike and Gill to Castle Combe and back. Great walking with like-minded people. Thank you.
