A linear walk following the meandering By Brook valley down towards Box followed by a guided tour of Jamie’s Farm. “The Farm uniquely combines Farming, Family, Therapy and Legacy with a focus on giving children time and space to reflect, to renew and determine a new path for themselves.”
The walk starts at the Springfield Community Campus at 11:30 on Friday 12th June. Throughout the walk to Box your leaders will share snippets of the deep history and stories of the area and buildings. On reaching Box, we take the path above the Recreational Ground to then climb the slope up to Middle Hill with its superb view of the Western Portal of Box Tunnel.
After the visit to Jamie’s Farm we retrace our steps back into Box with the possibility of after walk refreshments at one of the coffee shops or The Queen’s Head before making your own way back to Corsham.
