The walk climbs out of Bradford on Avon to reveal magnificent views of Westbury White Horse and Salisbury Plain. On reaching Westwood, the route descends to Farleigh Castl where a brief summary of the history, skullduggery and intrigue of the castle will be given by the walk leader.

From the castle, the walk continues through fields adjacent to the river Frome to Iford Manor, returning via the Kennet and Avon canal.
