Walk SUN 4 – Lacock Loop and Village

Picture of Cottage in Lacock

Circular walk to the National Trust village of Lacock, a settlement which dates to Saxon times. A favourite place for filming, Lacock has seen little change in the past two hundred years and the walk includes a short tour of the village.

This quaint village with half-timbered stone cottages and medieval tithe barn has provided a location for many film and TV productions, including Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice and Downton Abbey.  Step back in time and enjoy an unspoiled Cotswold village with a variety of buildings dating from the 15th to the 18th centuries.  Bonnets and long swishing skirts are no longer required though!

Please bring a packed lunch.
