Join us for a linear walk from Corsham to Box via Colerne starting at 10:00 on Saturday 13th June from The Springfield Community Campus.
Along the way your walk leader will share with you the rich history of the area as you enjoy a beautiful undulating route along and across the By Brook valley. Points of interest are almost too numerous to list! They include Middlewick House, views out to Hartham Park, Euridge Manor (a former home of Sir Walter Raleigh), Jamie’s Farm and a view of the Western Portal of Brunel’s Box Tunnel.
Optional – but possibly well deserved – post walk refreshments at Box before making your own way back to Corsham. Although the walk is only 9 miles long, it is one of the more challenging in this year’s festival programme.
A reminder that tickets need to be purchased in advance and sales for this walk close at 12:00 on Friday 12th June.
