Corsham Walking Festival will return in 2027 over the weekend of 11 – 13 June 2027.
We are currently in the process of putting together a proposed programme of walks for Festival 2027 – which takes account of the feedback we received from Festival 2026.
Typically we try and offer 18 – 20 walks over the course of the weekend – but the precise number is dependent on the availability of sufficient Walk Leaders and Back Markers.
The draft walking programme should be available by end November – at which point it will be distributed to those who have helped us in previous Festivals. A briefing for the Walk Leaders and Back Markers will then take place on 21st January 2027 – by which stage we hope all walks will have agreed walk leaders and back markers.
We are always after more people to help leading walks so that we don’t the same volunteers. If you would be interested in doing so, contact any member of the Committee or email: chair@corshamwalkingfestival.org.uk. Want to help but not sure that you are ready to lead a walk? Get in contact anyway and we can arrange for you to receive mentoring and/or accompany an established walk leader when they are carrying out their pre-walk risk assessments in the Spring.
