If you are already fed up with the prospect of queuing for hours to get to your favourite beach, how about joining us for Corsham Walking Festival 2026 taking place over the weekend of 12 – 14 June 2026.
The feedback from recent pre-walks is that this is your opportunity to see the countryside around Corsham at its very best. Our fingers are firmly crossed that the weather will be kind to us this year – although hopefully it will be a little cooler than the last week of May!
A number of the bookable walks have sold out already, however there are still many interesting walks to choose from such as: By Brook and Mills to Jamie’s Farm, Meanders from Marshfield; our local Get Corsham Walking; the Upper Tributaries of the By Brook, a Walk for Blind and Partially Sighted People, also a Walk for Non-Walkers and our popular Wildflowers and Wildlife Walk.
This year we are offering two very practical hands-on sessions. The first are two, FREE one hour First Aid Confidence Courses to be held at the Springfield Community Campus. St John Ambulance will provide hands on demonstrations to help you deal with a first aid emergency. Refresh your CPR, use a defibrillator and understand how best to deal with other issues.
On the second one, Take Only Memories, you will learn tips and tricks for better photography on your walk. Join photographer Robert Auckland on a relaxed walk to capture some of Corsham’s most picturesque parts. Rob will use his experience as a photographer working for The National Trust to help you improve your photography of landscapes and architecture as we walk.
With the exception of the family friendly Walk of Discovery, tickets need to be booked in advance. You can book via the links on this website or directly with The Pound.
