We all hope that it will never happen to us, but in the event of a first aid emergency the first minutes can be vital. It is the actions of those already on the scene who will make the difference in a life or death situation until the emergency services can attend. Whether walking in the relatively benign Wiltshire countryside – or even in a home setting, you could be that person! Would you know what to do?
There will be two FREE First Aid sessions held in The Springfield Community Campus on Saturday 13th June at 11:00 and 14:00 – each lasting about an hour. St John Ambulance will provide hands on demonstrations to help you deal with a first aid emergency. Refresh your CPR, use a defibrillator and understand how best to deal with other issues. The course is aimed primarily at adults.
Although there sessions are FREE, spaces need to be booked in advance and bookings close at 12:00 on Friday 12th June.
